Declassified: UFOs

A number of Un-Finished Objects (UFOs) have been sighted.

Presented in random order:

Icy Flowers Danica Scarf

I'm almost ⅓ of the way through this project.

Hexie Love Actually...Again

I technically still need to sew the ends in on my first Hexie Love, but that didn't stop me from starting another version of Hexie Love. I would estimate I have maybe ⅓-½ of the the hexies completed. Plus, all the connecting of hexies yet to do.

Trego Cardigan

I'm super excited to make some strong progress on this, and I'm glad it's in the "already cast-on" priority list!

LotusFlowerBeanie Plz

I'll be using the slate blue for the base color, and the pink/red for the lotus flowers, and the neutral colored pom to top it all off.

One sock finished, looking for its soul mate.

MacBeth Sweater

This is based on the Macomb sweater pattern; I hope to have enough yarn to complete it, though it will be close!

A Piece of Apple Pie

These colors are absolutely gorgeous; so vibrant!

12 Months of MadelineTosh Cowl

I haven't cast-on for this yet, but this is a kit for a beautiful MadelineTosh striped cowl.

Shifting Cables Sweater

I can't believe I did ALL of this knitting on this seater and just...didn't finish it! I basically have one sleeve left to complete. I think it may come out too large for me know, so it may end up being overly cozy, or it may be a gift.

Leg warmers

Apparently I thought I had the legs of a volleyball player...these are soooo long! I think this first one could be cast off and the second started right away.

Reversible cable scarf

A beautiful pattern; I love that it's reversible, unlike most cabled patterns.

Howlcat

Nearly completed, and I hope it comes out ok! This is the project I'm currently prioritizing for completion.

So it Begins...Intentions & Rules

Ok. We're doing it. For real this time. Kim and I are going to stash-bust and project-finish our way through 2021, BFF style. We're both writing a blog to document our journey along the way.

As I knit, I'll also add a few colorful details and notes from my life, to make more interesting reading and to illustrate how interwoven knitting is with my life.

To guide our knitting adventure, we came up with some ground rules:

Rule 1 of Knit Club: Don't talk about knit club.

Rule 2 of Knit Club: No new yarn purchases.

[Except]: Anything needed to finish a current project or anything purchased out-of-town (obviously)

Rule 3 of Knit Club: Prioritize projects that are on-the-needles or have an intended pattern (already purchased).

Rule 4 of Knit Club: Once all prioritized projects have been finished or frogged, begin working through stash yarn.

Rule 5 of Knit Club: Knit at least one round or one row per week on a project.

Rule 6 of Knit Club: Write at least one blog post per week.

Rule 7 of Knit Club: Do the dance!
